When there was no GE and everyone sold at the Varrock Bank and I find it amazing how prices got set and every item had its own section.

 

I remember when i bough 1mil from my friend for £2 and the next day yo-yo come out i was so happy i got my self full rune for the first time then got lured in wildy and killed =/ lol i was upset for few days lmao now when i remember makes me laugh lol

 

I'll tell you what... I remember when you'd get flamed for trying to buy Wizzy (t) in front of varrock bank. That was the runes/pots section. Duh!

In early 2005 I remember dieing in the wilderness at level 30 or so and losing my adamant pickaxe.

I remember staking all my cash away, but still having fun.

I remember the busy streets of Varrock World 1 and Falador Park World 2.

I remember so many things, but all those things are no longer possible.

Remember when slayer came out, I was seriously wtf? Wasn't even good at English so I was pretty confused.

 

That was like, a year and a half ago...

That was also fairly recently, definitely not "way back".



I remember being level 35 in either 2002 or 2003, and I was doing some quest, or meeting a friend or something, and got some kid to take me to the fally mines, but he took me to varrock sewer instead. I was so scared for my 400gp... oh yeah, and xx jut xx, timmies 2 (slightly famous, he added me, then blocked afterwards lool...) and bonebreaker 6, all famous pkers. Mages used to wander around in full rune, because they actually could mage in rune, and you'd stake some kid thinking he was gonna use melee, and he put on a staff and absolutely raped you.

I remember when i lost my rune scimi and full addy in the wild and thought that my runescape life had ended.

 

I remember when i first started Pking (back in 2004 early 2005). i lost a rune scim which was all my money at the time, then i started Merching and got good amount of cash and started to pk and gained a lot more cash

i remember when i lured at edge and a j mod logged on (pretty sure it was mod mike) to same world and one of my old pures and my friends pure got banned. (i don't know if any one still remebers the luring stings) noob j mods wrecking all the fun.

i remember when me and my friends would search up people with 99 smithing on the highscores and beg for full rune. good times good times.

i remember when my friend hunter would make new accounts every week get like a 70 stat and get bored.

 

I remember when g mauls were 1m. Whips were 9m. d chains 32m. and O0OO0O pures infested runescape. or when it was a lot more simpler. before the ge manipulation bullshit, and junk trading bullshit when trading was free. When you could make 20-30m easily from buying/selling phats. And when it was actually cool to be a pure/skiller. Now its all corrupted bullshit. Too many high ass pures/skillers walking around like they're the next zezima. or doing that lure when you tell someone to click thieving chests 10000 times to get 500k lol.

and when the players made/controlled the prices, not your trade screen and jagex.

 

I remember doing mage arena mini-quest for the first time, dieing like twice, then after i finally got my staff and cape i went to the wild to celebrate and got owned by a blitz team, and lost 1k bloods. And quit over that cuz bloods were like 450+ea.

When laws were 1k each.

When "bank sale" was all you could see in chat for miles and miles.

When you could get multiple arrows on tutorial island and keep them!

When runescape was fun.

hehe, i remember when i got 70 attack on main, back around 2006 i played for like 1.5 years then, and i had a little party, and my friend gave me a whip, it was like Z()()()()()MG back then, now its like 'meh', and i went pking with it and it was great, =[ i still have it with me, but my friend quit for a gay game called world of shitcraft -.-i remember when i first made my first pure, no wildy ditch, no nuffin, it was a mage pure, got around 70 mage on it, it was awesome for pking.. now it just isnt the same. then i remember my first strength pure, got it to 60 strength (back then it was great level) then i let my friend pk on it and he accidentally got some def.. and then i made it zerker pure. in fact im playing on it now, =] hes lvl 80 now 85 str, and im around 81 (like 30k to go to 82)/99 cooking on him. =] good times i survived with him. i can just remember everything, i just look at screenshots of back and back and back.... i still remember the same interfaces they have in moparscape now lol, it be so weird returning back to them.
