War in Iraq

Now the media makes this war sound like it is an evil war. They make Bush seem like the devil for sending our troops into Iraq to fight in some pointless war.

Now immagine what would have happened if we did nothing.

9/11 happened. We lost the twin towers. Corrupt people in Iraq were celebrating. The saw America as a week country who didnt have the guts to fight back. Because of there extreme hate of Americans, they would have tried again and again for terrorist attacks.

If Bush didnt go in to search for bombs, they might have actually made some. Immagine them nukeing a giant city.

Who knows... maybe they did find bombs, but kept it a secret to not worry the public.



I just want to hear your ideas on the subject.

Well... we kinda went into Afghanistan at first. Then we moved over to Iraq.

I am of the impression that the entire war was an example of high-level corruption. There was no real need to invade.

And what if they attaced us with nukes? There was a significant threat there.

That article refers to Iran as a potential nuclear threat. I would like to know if there is any evidence that Iraq was preparing to attack us.

But then why would we attack Iraq and not the whole middle east then?

Fail. That's IRAN, not Iraq. And Iran doesn't even have nukes or the technology to create a respectable nuclear stockpile... And even if it did, how the hell would it be a threat to the US? They don't have ICBMs, and even the current leader isn't crackpot enough to attack the US, who have a nuclear arsenal second to none.

I really dont know. I will read some articles and get back to you. I myself argue about things i understand a little just so i can hear other peoples opinions and learn more about the subject myself.
