    I personally thought Halo 3: Recon was a better name, but ODST is pretty cool though.

    Halo 3: Recon is now called "Halo 3: OSDT"
    They changed it because "Halo 3: Recon" suited no purpose to the name of the expansion pack. If you watched the introduction trailer of the game, there's only ODST soldiers. I myself didn't see any of them wearing Recon armor, but I may have been wrong; highly doubt it. But They changed it because of the soldiers basically. I personally think it's a better name, as it suits it more than Recon did.

    Yeah, Halo 3:ODST is actually a good name for the expansion because it's all about the ODST human's so yeah and the name Halo 3:Recon has nothing to do with the expansion.
