    Which Compiler should I use.

    `````I've been looking through a few and sofar I have the choices Borland, Microsoft, and GNU. I just need one with the basics, fairly user-friendly. Which of these would suit me best? Do you have a link where I could get them? Do you know any other compilers that would be more useful/easier to use (free)?
    Cheers,
    Snow
    code::blocks is also a very nice IDE, as well as NetBeans and Eclipse, if your using Windows then theres the VS suite of course.
    Keep in mind that compiler and IDE are not the same thing, I think you meant IDE which is acronym for Intergrated Development Environment.
    I thought if people know what a compiler is... then surely they'd know what an IDE is, and would be a bit pedantic to point the differences out... looks like i was wrong lol
    I would recommend starting with the Dev-CPP IDE which includes the MingW compiler.
