You can get the new version on apple.com for $229.

i say touch bc of the capabilities it has, 8gb would be enough for some movies and plenty of music, the small screen on the nano makes it tough to view movies

 

Yeah the touch easily touch is just the best Music device out there atm.

 

I like the nano, because of it's small design, but the touch probably is a better choice.

 

Touch. If you look on Craigslist you can probably get one still in the box for $200 because they were doing a promotion where if you buy a MacBook you get a free 8gb Touch so try to find one

I'd personally pick the Ipod Touch, I have one and its fantastic, expect you will spend lots of time fiddling around with it.

Ipod touch hands down. I have one they are the pwn. trust me, apps are sick but only thing is the other ipod would have more battery life but that isnt a major issue.

oh its pocket-size, trust me lol.

it may look big because of the screen, but really it can fit in your pocket really well. because its really thin, i think 8mm? yeah don't worry about the size it will definitely fit in your pocket

 

I really prefer iPod Touch 8GB... cause it has better display so u dont need to press that stupid buttons x)

 

allright you guys made me decide! =D but its just ooone thing.. Nano is 16GB (I've never used music for over 1.5GB in my whole life so this would have like 14GB of movies ~ 10-20 movies.

And the Touch (i've looked on it alot and ITS FUCKING AWESOME .. erhm .. it has 8GB, wich would be like 6GB of movies (avarage 1.36GB~700mb) so its 4-8 movies.. But its alot better quality&bigger screen plus speakers!

Ipod touch definately, if you have a lot of music maybe the nano, but the touch has a bigger screen, better interface, better features, and it has apps!
