Blackberry's?

Ok, well right now I have a samsung glyde and I hate it. The touch screen is annoying as all hell, and I just want to get rid of it. My finals start soon, and my mom said if I do well I can get a new phone, so Im thinking of getting a blackberry. Most of the kids in my school have blackberry's, making it ideal. I would want to get the curve:

Wondering if anyone has one, and if they could share their thoughts on them.

 

They are good

Great for texting if you have the right fingers lol
Pretty much every feature about them is great

Slow internet tho if you use it

Overall, i would recommend it if you are getting a phone and are interested in multimedia and some seriousness

a downside is that they take a while to configure if you go for configuring everything

What carrier do you have?

 

If I were you and had the option of purchasing whatever phone I wished, I would buy the IPhone. It's not as expensive as the first version and has so many great features. I have the IPhone, and have had it since it came out in August. The best part about it is the updates which you can download via ITunes. Unlike other phones you can upgrade your phone on a monthly basis.

 

Ahh, yeah Iphone is awesome. However my carrier is Verizon, to answer Panzer. Im a very quick typist so it would be great for me. I want one pretty badly.

 

I got an iPhone too, and im not gonna lie, if I had an iPod and a Blackberry I don't think that I would regret not having an iPhone

The biggest reason I'm using one is cuz its my iPod

Nokia n96 is the worst mobile phone in the history of nokia. It has the slowest processor. I baught it and sold it the next day. If i were you, get the nokia N82 or get a Iphone. If you want blackberry curve, you must be already known about the blueberry software, cuz its a bittt complicated.

Yeah, I know how to use the software, I use my sisters blackberry all the time. It does take some to get used to.. and Jansen there not fast. Either way thats probably what Im getting.

 

I have a blackberry pearl. At first I thought it was the best thing, I was on the internet youtube and so on.. Then I got to where I leanrd how to download the applications. I downloaded like 4-5 and that is where everything started to suck. My msn application on works some of the time. And the phone freezes alot. I would say you get what you pay for. I bought the cheapest blackberry and i guess i got what i payed for.. lol. Spend more and expect more.

Ah, then new Blackberry touch phone is the best phone made for Verizon. My carrier isn't Verizon but, I was at the Verizon store a short while ago and checked it out with a friend. It had some great features and I love the GPS system which they have, it works to perfection.

 

Ehh, I really don't like the storm (touch blackberry). Touch screens don't do it for me, and I hate pushing things, it gets VERY annoying. My phone is touch, which is why Im getting rid of it lol.

 

Iphones get bricked too easily, happened to me..

Blackberrys suit some people very well, and others not at all... If you like the small keypad layout thing, then you'll like the phone itself.. But for me i dont.

I checked it out and tbh it wasnt as good as it was hyped up to be, unless it was running rather slowly
The click screen sucked big time too when you text, but I think that's cuz they simply needed to restart the phone (running too long w/o) stopping can screw up the operating system)

 

Exactly. Utterly despised the touch screen, and Im a major txter so it wouldn't be good for me at all.

 

blackberry storm is good if you dont want to go apple with the iphone and its cheaper per month i believe

 

they are the best. my friend has one and i cant stop playing with it when im at his house.
