Found a problem in alch.
It clicked confuse curse and it would not unselect the curse so it kept on hovering over the coubored.

I agree, he needs to stop being such a damn prick. People answer his questions and he does nothing more than bitch about the answers he gets. Hopefully Rid doesn't answer him, as I think he doesn't deserve an answer.

 

I think he's just anxious to start botting lol.

Vizerak - connectivity is good from the USA and Europe, and from places further away than Columbia, so it's unlikely it's the cause of the problem you have. Yes it's further away, but it's not like playing counterstrike, far less data needs to be sent back and forth. If you are on a fast connection and the bot is noticably slow (ping > 800), it's more likely a problem with your network, you should check you don't have any software or hardware issues, maybe try connecting direct to your router. Ping is an external factor, I gave some tips on improving ping a couple of days ago. If there's a lot of demand for a South American RID server I could set one up, but it would only make a slight improvement, if there is already a problem with your network (it sounds like you have).

 

Well unfortunitly it's not the first time he has complained about the answer he recieved from someone. Rid, You got an idea when the pc bot will be released? I'm anxious to try it. Heh

 

I'm posting this just to prove that RID does read his pm's and answers them as soon as he can. i asked him about a name change and he responded a day later! It was great To bad RID idk what account i should transfer my hours to

Also, does anyone run this on Vista? Besides the obvious no Aero and Classic view, what are your settings?

 

I run it on vista with only it set on classic, runs decent. I think their are other issues though. Sometimes it runs alright other times it runs like total crap. Never figured out why my xp system is blocking rid from connecting to the server, so I don't know if it actually runs better on xp or not.

 

I used to run it with no Aero and Classic only. It would work great some days and other days just not as good.

I used XP way before I got Vista and it was fine...but that computer was slow so I cant really say which one is better.

 

Pretty much what I get out of it. Some days no problems at all, Others not so good. I had it get only 60 something alches in an amount of time over 5 hours the other day. Thats just how bad I have had it. Same connection and everything with no explanation of why. If only I could find the reason my xp system is blocking it. I might just reinstall windows on the xp system so I can try it Heh

 

Have you ever even used RID? lol, way to spam your post count up.

You'd have to be an idiot to use RSbot on the kind of account people train with RID, typical RID user: Mage 99, combat 120+, Cash 150M+... Maybe you're right, RID probably isn't for you.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, but if anyone knows, could they let me know. My ping, lets say it's around 350ish and a response time of 30ish... is that effective? I'm using wireless and still haven't tried plugging it in yet. I want to know if this is effective or not or else i'll plug it in. yeah I'm that lazy to go to the other room to plug it in and leave it there or maybe ill buy a long ethernet cord.

Well, the lower they both are the better, but that seems fine. As long as you arent in the 800s or such. If it got lower it may not be worth the small performance upgrade, if it gets one.
