Its a gift, I'm sure your father wouldn't be happy with you if you sold it. Personally, I'd keep it and learn how to play. If you have some extra time on your hands, guitar is always a fun thing.

Well, he doesn't live anywhere near me he sent it to me.

Also, I'd like to learn to play but yea I can't think about it right now. Anyways I do like music alot. I mostly into Metal, Rock, Alt Rock, Techno.

Well your father bought it so you should at least try to learn it for him.

If your not a musical sort of guy then I would sell it, it's not that great anyway.

Cheap doesn't mean it's bad. It's worth it's price from what I read. Although Esteban is a music whore he is quite good and I am sure he wouldn't link his name to complete shit. I would keep it and learn to play.

It really depends on you. I mean if your not the music type, or you have low patience then no, don't keep it. Just tell you father you appreciate it very much, but you probably wont learn to play, and you would rather get something that interests you. If you want to give it a shot then go for it, I've been playing guitar for almost 4 years now, it's awesome.

You should learn to play some Slim Dusty.

Then you could play at bars and earn heaps of cash.
Man that would be freaken sweet

YOU WILL BE AN EPIC DICK IF YOU SELL IT.

That is incredibly rude to sell something that your own father gets you as a gift.

Guys chill out. Im sure if he tells his father he isn't interested in a polite manner he wouldn't get insulted. Imagine your the father, you spend a few hundred on a guitar that is NEVER touched... wouldn't you have rather been told about it, so you could get something else that your child actually enjoys. I know I would, and if my son told me nicely he'd rather get something else I would be glad to get him something else, rather then letting the guitar collect dust..
