I agree with you ... Certain Moderators don't appear too active.

 

I am on the same page, Shredder is one of the most active in the dispute forum, as he said, he doesn't have time to deal with all of them. In the end, it's their fault for running their mouth or scamming, and for those select few who actually didn't do anything, there are other means of contacting them.

I think we have active moderators, but there are also 30+views on each thread in the RaS so they probably look at it, dont find enough proof, and let someone other mod view it, if not it goes to the archives. They are active though.

 

I really don't agree with you politics.
Listen people get scammed, they then will file their evidence on the "Report A Scammer Section", then if noone answers it days go by, and the scammer will be still scamming people. I mean like, if the Moderators actually answered all the threads and ban the scammers, less and less people will have to report a scammer. I mean it won't eventually die out, there will also be scammers to scam an innocent victim.

The dispute section, well what if you were banned for no reason, and you waited weeks, months for an answer, and you are new and all and not well known. Our staff need to be more improved, and warned. If you take this job, it's serious and thousands of kids, teens, and adults depend on you to ban the scammers and to unban the innocent people.

I think, the Moderators should be demoted if they atleast miss 1 page of threads that needs to be Moderated, because after the first day the thread dies out, and what Moderator would go look on the second page, non do.

That's why I believe we need to stricken the rules.

 

Obviously they are not grateful... People donate to this site to keep it up and have it in good shape. Letting things get cluttered because some moderators are inactive isn't good.

You also shouldn't have to be paid to do a good job. People volunteer to be a staff member. I don't know how many organizations that raise money for people would be any good with lazy volunteer workers, or people who didn't do much.

On the other hand Shameonyou, right now is a time where people are on vacation, with family, and even working constantly in their own life. I think more towards the holidays people should be cut some slack. We are all regular people just like everyone else. At some point there are times in our lives that we have so much to do its hard to get much done at all.

Mods can't spend 24/7 on Sythe obviously, and you guys are saying 'find new mods' or whatever, but it's not really easy to find a trustworthy person to be a mod.
