    .Class files, how can someone hack you?

    okay so everywhere i see to download scripts.
    it says they wont send class files.
    and it really sucks because i have tried everything to get my compiler working, but it doesnt.

    but why exactly cant people send class files to people is my question?
    a nice descriptive answer would be nice

    Wrong.

    Yes, if they send you a .class file, then they can steal your username and password without anyone knowing. They do not allow them so that everyone knows they are using the same thing, and the source can be checked to make sure that they are not stealing your password.

    They most likely disallowed it for that reason, and because they do not care if you can not get it running.

    Class files are compiled java sources. . . The reason people don't want them is because once they're compiled, the original source is unreadable, so you can't be sure what a class file will do just by looking at it. It's like any other executable... People prefer the source code over the actual executable because it isn't really the best idea to run one that you find anywhere . .2
