I hate how the united states has such strict laws against this awesome, one of a kind plant.

Im hoping in the near future steps wil begin for decriminalization, and eventually legalization.

Our economy (and any other economy) would benefit, along with money being saved from this "war on drugs"

I see no valid reason as to why marijuana should be illegal. If you take it in your home or in a place where no one gets affected by it, it should be legal. Self-Ownership.

 

Plus the fact that no one has ever died from marijuana.

The government allows perscription pain killers wich is like legal heroin, yet marijuana is illegal, and not anywere near as bad.

Atleast medical marijuana is moving in a goods dirtection.

 

I also don't see a reason why it should be illegal, just regulated, much like alchohol. You shouldn't be able to drive while under the influence, should be age restrictions, etc.

Where I grew up, marijuana was completely commonplace. It seemed everybody used it, regardless of whether or not it was legal. I made the personal choice to avoid it, simply because I didn't want to do it, just as I don't drink. From my perspective, alcohol has a much more negative influence on people than marijuana does.

One of the biggest benefits of legalization would be eliminating the black market for the substance. Dealers and gangs have had a terrrible influence where I come from, and drugs are sold, it ussually passes through their hands. It's terrible because it gets cut and laced with so much garbage that its nowhere near natural. All the profits the dealers make just help them to get a hold of harder drugs, and those really ruin peoples' lives.

If marijuana can be introduced as a legal yet controlled substance, I believe its impact could be no worse than alcohol.

 

It should only be regulated so that others aren't affected by it, places such as amsterdam have done well because they try and limit it to certain places where people can have the choice. It's only bad when parents bring their children and family into it. Sure, some people argue it's poison, but if normal ciggarettes are legal, and they kill more people than cannabis, then why not legalize it?

It is YOUR body and you can do anything with it, in this case, smoke pot. As far as I know, marijuana doesn't effect your body in a negative way, so it should be legalized. Amsterdam is win :|

Its not the effects that Kill when on marijuana [if it does kill at all] Its what people do when on it, my friend [hes Quite the idiot] thought he could fly and jumped off the roof of his home and broke both his legs, he didnt die as you can tell but he severely hurt himself

Maybe if your friend smoked chronic indica then he would of got couchlocked enough not to do such a stupid thing if hes and idiot already i dont suggest mixing it with drugs, Idiot + Drugs = Death/Complications. I enjoy smoking it and hopefully oneday they will legalize it. The money made from marijuana by drug dealers is in the billions. If it was legalized then honest people could make a good living.

 

They should legalize it, It does nothing but if you happen to set it on fire it does shit to you. I mean... Asprin is perfectly legal you take 12 of them bitches and it will be your last headache.

For the love of God, your weed it NOT laced.

People don't lace weed because it's troublesome, and you can make a lot more money NOT lacing it. People lace things like cocaine which sells for $80/g opposed to $10.

1. Marijuana would not put OIL companies out of business.
2. Marijuana would not even put cigarette companies out of business
3. Marijuana would not put alcohol companies out of business.
4. There is no conspiracy as to why it's illegal pretty much world-wide by a super-elite group that controls the world. Sorry.

 

Yeah, theres nothing wrong with it. And studys show that Drunk Drivers or w/e you want to call them, they cause more deaths then any other drug.
