Something used for fun and something used for protection have no similarity. I really don't see where you see they have a similarity. You and I both know swimming pools are used for fun or getting better at swimming.. But this Rape-X isn't used for either, it's used for cutting off dicks. Swimming pool related deaths are caused by inexperienced swimmers going into deep waters way above their head and not having a snowballs chance in hell to survive.

And going back up to what I said above, you fail to see my point, this is extremely inhumane. Yes, I will agree with the statement that this device will make rapists think twice before deciding to rape again, but in the long run this device will cause more harm than good. 1) There are lots of things that you can use to cause harm.
2) There are lots of things that we use, (whether for fun, protection, entertainment) that can result in death or an injury.

Perhaps a woman can seduce someone, with the device on, and then later call it an accident. The woman can also go hunting with him, shoot him, and call it a accident.

This product sounds like a fairly good idea and can be used to prevent rape, I also believe it is up to the individual to decide if she wants this. However, There are so many things wrong with this, such as it can be easily turned into a weapon, if a women gets drunk and decides to have sex with someone (consensual-although drunk) obvious consequences would occur...

 

In places like South Africa this is a great idea imo.

Don't know if anyone else saw this on the wikipedia but I just find it funny they put this "Like most condoms, Rape-aXe also usually prevents pregnancy and the transmission of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases." Like most condoms... can this even really be called a condom I think more fitting term would be jaws of life lol.
