Let people trade the way they want to. If you don't trust someone with paypal, don't trade with him/her. You can't prohibit people from using it. They have the freedom to chose, so do you.

I reckon over 75% of Sythe regularly uses Paypal to buy goods.
And it will not stop scamming, scamming is pretty much impossible to stop.

I do not support, most of Sythe would probably use Paypal. And they are not all scammers, its just the select few that scam. Taking away Paypal will not stop the scammers though, it is pretty much impossible to stop them. All you can do is reject the person if you are sus about them. Stopping most people source of money transferring will not stop the scammers.

 

Why ban PayPal? Then simply support MoneyBrookers.

PayPal is one of the most used forms of transaction globally, so there should be no reason why it should be banned. Just because you've been scammed doesn't give you the right to bitch about it and remove a privilege for everyone else.

COMPLETELY DISAGREE. You will only be scammed trough paypal if you have a low IQ.

As long as you are paypal verified, you will always get your money back if someone claims/reverses a payment. I for example have had a few scammers reversing the money they sent trough paypal in trades here on sythe and I always won the disputes because most of the scammers that reverse are not paypal verified. It's simple, trade with paypal verified members and always ask them to send you an e-mail from their paypal e-mail to verify they are the real owners of that paypal and GET PAYPAL VERIFIED!

Also, when you are receiving a high amount of money, always get your buyer to claim/cancel trough both "unhauthorized transaction" and "item dispute", that way they will never get their money back unless you refund them.

Not really, loads of people are scammed through paypal all the time. Doesn't mean they have a low IQ. Everyone who uses paypal takes the risk of getting scammed..
