What really matters at the end of life?

I do not want to die alone or unmarried.... fear of death scares the living shit out of me.

 

That you enjoyed the ride.

 

Making sure I enjoyed life to the fullest & if I have any little ones when I did, making sure they’re going to be okay without me

 

What matters at the end of my life is "What have I accomplished in my life?" and "Did those accomplishments actually made a positive difference in my family's life, friends' life, and other people lives?" I would be content to know that I did not die just being a breathing living specie on the earth but actually my contribution on the earth is a positive one.

 

Looking back and feeling content.

 

I could talk for hours about this but i can also sum it up in a short answer which would be, my deeds. If you're a religious person this is the only thing that one can bring with him when he is dead, your deeds in life. Everything else is irrelevant.

 

Correct, that's your spiritual side, what about different roles like as a family member, etc.

 

I assumed by the title that you meant what matters when you die?

But my answer would still be the same as per your family related question, deeds is the only thing that matters in life. You're what you put out in this world. If you do bad things you leave negativity behind and it affects everything and everyone around you.

Help others if you can, be good to your parents and deal with life the best way you can.

 

What matters at the end of life: Being ready to go to Heaven.
Jesus will say "Come in my good and faithful servant" Or... "Depart from me, I know you not".
I want to make it to the gates of Heaven and not spend eternity in Hell.

 

I like that, and first, help yourself, because you cant pour from an empty jug

 

Following god's commandments and being the best human being I can be to everyone

 

Leaving the people behind you in a better position than they were before, be it on a large scale or a very small scale (just your family)

 

Helping others,family,friends. Changing anyone's life for the better.

 

Having not many regrets to be honest, thats what i think about right now. to try and do as much as i can

In my opinion it matters if you lived your life to the fullest.
Besides, I don't fear alot of things, but 1 of them is that when it's my time, to die alone, with no loved ones around me.
