Question About Item Pricing Rising/Falling

Ok I have been trying to buy dragon claws since they came out and everyday I have to put more cash in and was wondering does trading make the prices go up or does it have to be bought in be ge for prices to go rise?or both?

 

Market price shouldnt effect it.
If more people buy at max, in the g/e it should rise,
then you can sell for more.

 

Market price, according to Jagex, does not affect the prices of items.

The thing is that D Claws and really rare, and people don't sell on GE, they sell to other players, with junk, for like 15M +

 

then how does it keep rising?

 

people put in offers at MAX and no one sells making demand go up and supply low

 

The only GE trades that do go through are always at maximum, which keeps the price rising.

 

Even with the price at 600k right now for D claws, you won't be able to buy them until the market price reaches player price which won't be for a while because with people still selling them for 15m, they will never reach lower then 5m
