    Hello all,

    Not sure if this warrants a post or not but I’d rather be safe than sorry. This guy came up in a previous post about being sketchy.

    User: @gspec
    Attempted scam: Maxed main account
    Value: $400 in BTC

    I added him to negotiate buying my main account and I was willing to hear him out about his demands to not go first or use a MM, disregarding the age and zero reputation of his account because I myself do not have many vouches (used to sell back in the day, just coming back to sell off remaining 07 stuff so I can move on). I know he is not required to do either of those things, he immediately flips the tables and calls me a scammer.

    As another layer of security, I asked for a screenshot of his BTC account for POF. He sent me a shitty screenshot of a website I’ve never seen before and was lazy enough to not close the tab where he converted the BTC. Hmm definitely didn’t inspect element there huh bud? When I asked him to refresh the page in a GIF he called me a scammer again and “pathetic” and blocked me. (Edit: Not posting this as it has his full name on it and I don’t want to Dox)

    Also would like to note, in the first screenshot, he says he’ll “buy” BTC when he showed me two whole Bitcoins in his POF screenshot. Very interesting.

    Very strange behavior and considering he’s been reported before, I feel he should be given at the very least a TW.

    well bro gl..no worries. i aint force u to sell it to me..ur the one whos mad..coming up to me selling account and then blame for scamming nah..good try. i posted on sythe and ask for respect who could go first i didnt force anybody.

    That’s not the point I’m making by this post. I wasn’t forcing you but I’m also not gonna give you my account for free. There are numerous holes in your story. Shouldn’t be the case if you’ve been looking to buy a main for a while.

    In light of that there isn't anything that can be done here. Users are more than free to refuse a middleman.

    I advise you and everyone else to make sound judgement when deciding who to trade with. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
