Dear Admins,

I got scammed by: aabbcathy , he would MM a trade between me and someone else. He confirmed in sythe his discord unique ID, he directly went off discord once he received the 40M osrs he would MM for. I thought he would be trustworthy as he had 500$ donor.

Attached his PM to me confirming his Discord ID:





after he accepted the trade he left the discord group. please ban him or make him give back my 40m osrs.

 

here possible also pretty useful, him sending a screenshot in discord of my PM in send to him in Sythe. Now I know this could have been a so called man in the middle imposter scam, but since there was only 2 minutes before my PM sent to him on the Sythe website and his screenshot of it sent in discord it is highly unlikely that this is the case.

Not only did your poor PM get someone else scammed, but you got scammed yourself after. Please thoroughly read this thread and do not attempt to trade without checking someone's Unique ID: [Important] Confirm who you are speaking with on Discord!

Please do not proceed with trades unless the PM you receive clearly shows your conversation, as well as both UIDs, as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/hhosthY.png. If you proceed to trade after a bad PM and get scammed by an impostor, you will not be so fortunate to be compensated again, this was an exception because @aabbcathy confirmed/caused confusion in their response to you.

I've removed your DNT, but have refreshed your TWC for another month for this entire farce. I sincerely hope you've learnt from the lessons in this report and from what I've told you on Discord. It's imperative you get accustomed to typing correct PMs and we will not be lifting your TWC in a month's time without seeing a massive improvement in how you send out PMs.
