Question: What is Junk?

What does the term "junk" refer to in runescape...
I know it has something to do with highly valuable items that noone buys...
please enlighten....

 

Junk is a semi-expensive item, but nobody ever buys them. Some I can think of are pouches from summoning and unstrung bows like maple or willow for example. There are others, but this should be asked in the Runescape section please.

and also, why does everyone talk about trading junk for things?

 

Because not all things are selling in Grand Exchange. :/ example; people are selling animal masks because they are caunting as 'junk', so people just give some crap what is worth same price.

 

Because its a way of rwt, ill use an example of junk Oak longs (u) lets say u have 10k of them it will nvr sell in ge, so then u can rwt with it ie. Trade that for cash. Its safer then bh but the person ur rwting from loses some money from the junk. :Z

 

Ohhh, that would be why everyone is talking about trading junk for things etc. because I was wondering, how come people want it, but even though it's considered junk.
