Decanting STR pots

Hey will some one help me out and teach me a lil more in depth on wat 2 do?​

What do you mean by decanting str pots?

You buy how ever many Str Potions (3) you want then you walk to the potions guy can't remember his name and click decant. He will make most of them (4) and you sell on ge for profit. I think I have heard from somewhere that sara brews are the best for this.

 

His name is bob barter and is im the southwest corner of GE

 

I think it takes ur potion and like gives u herbs.

Rather than asking why not just do it once and check what happens lol.

 

Bob Barter will take your potions and refill them together.
E.g. you have 12 strength potions (3), he will take them, and he will give you 9 strength potions (4) and 3 vials.

 

nope,

lets say you have 40 (1) dose str potions and you put 28 of them in your inventory, go to the guy in the SW corner of the GE and click decant, he will take all of your (1) dose potions and combine them all into (4) dose potions.

Look at it like this
1=1 dose potion
4=4 dose potion
0=empty vial

get this out of your bank

1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 1 1

and click decant and it will look like this

4 4 4 4
4 4 3 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0

so yeah...thats just with (1) dose and obviosally it would make more potions if you were decanting (3) dose potions.

ok
1)buy as many str pots (3) as u want
2)get a full inv of them at ge
3)go to the herb guy and click decant
4)it will make them all into (4)
5)if bought the (3)for mid sell for a bit more.
that help any?

 

Get a decent amount of potions that are not all 4 dose, talk to Bob in the GE, then he will mix them all together in seconds so that there are only Potion(4).

Im not sure how it can make you any money though, jagex has pretty much figured out how to make money completely impossible....

it turns any pots you have into ure invy to as many 4 doses as it can. so u dnt have to refill them ureself. this is good profit in large numbers, and quick to. sara brews, super restores, and super strength potions work the best at this

 

This isnt a good method of profit because it takes days to buy just ONE strength potion (3). It takes too long to even get enough to decant, decanting is only profitable with members only potions

 

holy crap this owns jsut realised the whole thing

So the reason for all this is to get empty vials?
