Pvp Vs Pking

is there a difference between pking and pvp? if there is state the differences,
also i have heard that over a while, "pking" has changed hugely, please state the changes and any recimendations you have for pking or pvp.

 

..I will try to break it down for you..

Pking.: Pking was a place in Runescape 2 that at certain wilderness levels [ area where pking took place] you were able to att a player close to your level. If you att someone first you obtain a skull, in which if you die you lose everything...
Pro's of pking: You can gain so much because what there wearing you get..Freedom to att and real world trade easily!!..If you wear a rune defender / fighter torso / fire cape you can run back and pick it up..
Con's of pkin: Nothing =]

PvP: Well after jagex decided Hey we don't like other people getting rich and having fun with our pixels they took away pking....

Pvp is now the new pkin [ also bh ]. In pvp you can att i think it is like +/- 10 levels from your combat ..In certain worlds you can attack anyone in that range anywhere!!!!

Pro's: Attack people anywhere!!!....

Mix of pro + con: Random loot..When you kill a person who say has a skull and is wearing over 500mil in stuff!! you can get a nice rune plate!!...rune plate 60k ..guys stuff eaten by floor=500m...
But if say you see a noob training at dragons and has a whip etc. You can get lucky and get a sick drop!! like a dragon full helm etc. So to my knowledge is pretty random...

Cons: Random drops..

Summary; pking was the best thing but pvp isnt bad at all for non-serious pkers...if id play i would just kill a noob that's walking around and have a chance of like 40mil drop =]

Pking = Player killing
PvP = Player vs. Player
It's the same shit.......

 

pvp=random, shit drops
pking=getting what your opponent has.

Pking, you actually get the items pvp you get a share in the items. :O

 

This sums it up: Wildy Pking > PvPing

 

They are basically the same, except with Pking you would have gotten your opponents actual items.

It's A completely different drop system In PvP. Imo pking drop system was awesome and completely fine. New PvP Drop system Is COMPLETELY Messed up Unless your extremely lucky..

 

Honestly, ive spent nearly 1mill in PvP items..and i have not recieved any drop that was worth a damn.

 

Pvp is a massive money pit that isnt very fair on people who like it as they are unlikely to get even half their money back.

 

PvP and pking are the same thing.

Pking = Player killing, which is exactly what you do in PvP worlds.

Now there's a difference from the old wildy pking, and PvP pking.
You could attack anyone, leave from the wildy whenever you want, and relieve everything you pked.

 

Faggets werent there, better drops.

 

PKing=Ownage
PvP=Not Ownage


Pking was what made Runescape what it is today, without it I'm sure all of the servers would be shut down.

PvP is an attempt to bring back players that used to PK, hopefully Jagex will change this to somewhat what it used to.

The fact that in pvp you dont know what items you get, most players dont have luck like me so they dont get good kills.
