alright since the official mm's never on.
make it mandatory if your gonna post to buy/ sell anything in the black market to use these tags

[MM] - unnoficial middle man only will be used if you dont agree piss off.
[OMM] - official middle man only " ".
[NOMM] - no middle man will be used if you dont wanna get scammed ignore these posts.

honestly its fricking annoying all these people with 100's of pins and oh ? they magically wanna use only official mm's and look theres only 4-5 and 2 of them only do huge trades only (50 mil+) and the rest never on.
now this aint a rant about we need more official mm's i understand its hard to get trusted people. but its fricking annoying i add someone (cause i dont wanna spam asking trusted mm's allowed ?) and ask if they use trusted and

they say, "no sorry im a scammer looking to make it big so go first or use an offline official mm. o you wanna go first and get scammed ? great"

Thats why you need me, I am planning on being the cheapest/free Official MM. I also agree with what you are saying about that marks. You can tell if a post is legit or not. And Avoid the NOMM

I like the idea, i think its a good suggestion but i don't think it will work because what if someone does mind if any of the three are used?

I think scammers will still abuse the system anyway.

 

Forcing people to do things does not make them happy.

first of all the nomm is basically to admit your a scammer....
but if its all 3 then type out [AllMM] idk someone figure something out. it would save lots of spam.

in a post that already states mm or official mm only. those users can be reported for spam. and eventually theyll recieve a perm ban if they keep spamming like that leading to more people actually reading titles and reading the content of posts in the blackmarket

Anyways, I think this is a good suggestion, but don't you see that as you read every single Thread in the Black Market that they already say, "we can use an MM...", etc. People always put that, and everyone shall most likely just put [OMM] in their title to get people to trade them.

Shouldn't the rule be that the person MUST choose an MM before the Trade is to occur, so they have Verified the person that they are going to use?
-I think doing this first will enable a sort of security with the Trade itself. Just a thought. =]

 

This is a great idea. The problem I have is the way this would be used..

Everything should remain a case by case basis. If it's not, it elimitnates choice as the preffered method of trading

MM's shouldn't have to monitor the black market in order to help someone with a trade. The Middle Man forum is better and probably there for that reason.

 

no see if it says [OMM] i plan on ignoring it, because theres only 2 mm's willing to do pins and they never on. see ? so if theres no official mm currently on im gonna skip that post not even bother reading it. if it says
[NO MM] i wont even bother reading the rest of the title

if it says [MM] im gonna look in it see if they've chosen one if not then ill pm them on messenger and we'll decide from there.

we have market mods for a reason, plus the report button... which the first few days/weeks will be overflowing with the market section.

how does it eliminate choice ? you can have the choice to not agree with what the person asks. you know if they put [OMM] there also gonna add on "or you go first" everyone does, thats the thing though say; i just added someone who says UNCLEARLY (?) in his post MM or you go first

true that officials are never online, but i can see y since they are request to MM like 20 trades a day...

 

OKAY, peope this is common sense. Typically it is pretty easy to see who is a scammer and who is not. This is common sense, although it is not quite so common it seems. Read the post, see how the guy talks(declines/accepts circumstance etc). Now thats not to say you wont get scammed. Sometimes legit people, die or loose the items and dont pay you etc. This happened to me once. All I am saying is we don't need these tags. This is a useless system in my opinion. Now titles will be even more cluttered up aside from peoples annoying little "ALT CODES". Now titles will be even worse! It will be like [paypal][NOOMM][NOTASCAMMER]BLah#$$$SELLING GOLD LEGIT =)GOLD FARM SERVICE/POWERLEVEL[5$/MIL]

People that get scammed are not smart enough not to get scammed. Get smarter, and you will not get scammed. Like I said, you can not force people to do things they do not want to do, and it will make people unhappy.

yes its fricking obvious how to avoid scammers. but i just get impatient , this is only second time ive been scammed. the only reason i trusted the guy is honestly he was Asian. not to be racist or anything but if he wasn't Asian id have waited till an mm came on. your allowed to post your opinion but try not using exclamation marks makes you seem like a douche.

SuF, you can force people to do things they dont wanna do if its your forum. thats why these forums have rules about signature size limits. about flaming spamming etc. people that get scammed are idiots yes (me). i dont disagree; but this would just help people who are looking to use an mm or official mm and not have to click/add the person and waste time

 

Sig size limit... your not forcing anyone to do anything. your forcing them not to do something. Spamming, flaming... forcing them not to do something... Forcing them to do this, is forcing them to do something, and it will not happen and people will be banned left and right for not doing it.

 

It would be a good idea, however people have to realize more official MM's are mainly used for big trades.

There are many very trusted MM's who are used for smaller trades such as pins, etc...

I hate it when people say they're selling pins but only official mm you pay fees or you first.
The fee is the price of the pin, and finding an official MM takes ages.

 

-.- really you wanna get into a kiddy conversation about the difference of doing and not doing ? if they dont do it, they deserve the ban for NOT following the rules, cause they chose NOT to do something. this will make it 10 times simpler and safer to do trades. and those traders that use say the [OMM] tag but in there post say you go first or no will also get warnings for misusing titles.
