Wow, no way

Here's the story:

I went to tzaar to get the last 10k exp til 91 ranged yay! I figured, decent drop rate there and I could use some extra cash. Killed 6 of em. Got an obby cape! w00t! So I said yay a cape, this is going good, I'm about 1k exp from the level. I kill another one and I get a shield! I couldn't believe it.

Did JaGEx screw up these drop rates or did I just get lucky?

 

Congrats on your drops=) I doubt Jagex has fucked up the drop rate system you just got lucky I think =) You should start going there when your 10k from more range levels Haha =P

 

if I could continue that luck, camping there for 92 ranged would make me 30 mil =) I did use a ring of wealth so

 

Haha you're just really really lucky, I've been there before for a long time around when it first came out and i NEVER got anything.

 

Hmm, I would say you were extremely lucky their drop rate is not to high and for you to get 2 drops is amazing. Nice one.

 

That's like my friend there with ring of wealth for like 4 hours and only got one semi decent drop, a cape, and I went there with no ring of wealth, and first two kills both dropped mauls

Luckiest ever thing I had was when I got 15 Rune Scims from 40ish fire giants. I was so like wtf, I was getting rune scims from every 3!

Then it stopped and I was like ;(

 

No, you just got realy lucky, lol. I used 1500-1750 shots of crystal bow, with 85 range, and got nothing.

 

Its just luck, Ive gotten 3 whips drops in a row at abyssal's. And a friend
of mine got 4 D chains at dust devils in like 2 hours.

i was there from 70-80 range and got 1 obby shield :/

 

i went ther before from like 65 range with c bow and rune bolts after 1st kill got obby cape then 2 more kills later i got sheild
