Do you Fear Death?

I'm not scared. Hahahaha. I laugh at death. I laugh in its face.

 

So you'd laugh if a guy was pointing a shotgun to your head? /ridicule *Sorry for the spammish post, just had to ask.*

 

I'm not afraid of a non-painful death. If someone was pointing a shotgun at my head about to shoot, I'd probably laugh myself to death before the shotgun fired.

 

Of course, anyone who says no is most likely lying to themselves.

 

No, I do not fear death.

Why? Well, its just another part of my life I guess and I have nothing to fear in the unknown. I mean, ill be dead so its not like anything can hurt me.

The only thing is, I would like to live to about 80 then i should have completed my goals in life and be happy with my success/failures.

I just dont wanna go by drowning...I'd rather get shot.

EDIT: On an after thought, if I was to serve my country (military) I would gladly give up my life for my country.

I fear death because I got a lot of things I am still have not accomplished not because of my selfishness, etc. As long as I die without regrets I would be happy.

I do fear death.
I sometimes even fear when I go to sleep, what if I never wake up again?
I'm pretty sure there's nothing after death.
I think it will be like you are sleeping forever, cause when you sleep you can't do anything, but dream.
Being death is sleeping without dreaming.
That's what i'm thinking.

I don't fear death, but that's not because I IZ WELL ARD.

It's because I never think about it, it doesn't feel like I'll ever have to deal with death, and I guess thats incredibly naive of me, but I like it that way. I don't see a reason in me sitting and thinking about death, because I know that would cause a fear of it, I'd rather have to deal with it when it comes, and not think about it until then.

no i do not fear death,people get over it like some 1 said we will all die, i do know since i am a christian there is a after live. =) i just hope i would not die a painfull death.

 

I don't fear death because I believe in heaven and that you will see your family again. However, I fear dying in horrible ways such as drowning or some other painful terrible death.

 

Of course unless your a crazy religious fanatic who's a little messed up in the head, you will.

Because we have no solid evidence that there is an afterlife.

You don't have to be a crazy religious fanatic to fear the concept of death. We also don't have any solid evidence that there is no afterlife, but that's no argument, is it?

You say that nothingness, hence death, is very scary, yet you complain that only crazy religious fanatics will fear death? Explain your logic, please.
