miscellania.... is it worth doing???

hi everyone

i was just wondering what your thoughts on miscellania are? i have a friend who as done it and he says he makes like a mill a week from it. i havent done the quest yet but if this is true i will!

is it worth doing?????

1m a week is around the average profit you get. It's also a good source of free clue scrolls.

If you do the Royal Trouble quest as well, it's definitely worth it. Go for it.

 

In my genuine opinion it is worth doing as it can bring in income and give you something to do. But to make maximum profit from it you need to invest 750k to 1 mill gp Look up a miscellania guide and you'll get ore info

 

You can also keep 7M in there incase you get hijacked. Hijackers never look in Miscellania.

 

There's absolutely no reason anyone could be hijacked unless they're stupid enough to fall for a phisher or a keylogger. And if you fell for that, I doubt they would think of this either

Personally, my favorite feature is the free level-1 clue scrolls you get along with the swordfish and tuna

It's definitely worth it, its much better than leaving the 750k in your bank where it does nothing.

It helps keep my bank stacked with materials I might use

coz if you have access to miscellania, you can still do drags and gain the extra 1 mill a week. basically its money for doing nothing

The best place to put your money in Miscellania is Fishing (uncooked) which yields tuna, swordfish, caskets, and clue scrolls; and mining, which yields gems and coal.

Personally, I keep 7M in the coffers and visit about 3-4 times a week to top off my approval rating and claim my loot.

It's getter to claim the loot as often as possible rather then letting it build, because this will get you the maximum amount of clue scrolls (you can only have one at a time).

Miscellanea is great, free money IMO. No reason not to do it.

 

i never done it b4, i seen a guide for it awhile ago and it seems u can probly make 1m profit but when i calculated it it only made 500k, but that was like 6+ months ago, i havent calcluated it again since. ill calculate it for you and see if its really 1m a week. ill tell u the real number and what to set when u go to the island.

EDIT: (weekly,7days)at the most you get a 575k profit because you loose 525k to the workers but get 1.1m from the materials u sell. 1.1m - 525k = 575k... tbh to me its not really worth it unless you are using some of the materials for skilling or something and u sell the rest just to keep the money in ur coffers. or if u do some skilling to maximize ur profit but even then its not rly worth it because you have to keep doing it.

not worth it in my opinion, i would do it if it were a real 1m profit but its only 575k max.
