So, dragon platebody?

When i heard it was out, the first thing i said was 'i knew it'.
i caught pretty much the biggest clue jagex made, when they updated the front page, one of the characters in the picture (the one involving sailing, and what not) was wearing an unusually shaped dragon chain. pretty big give away.

But the question is, is it worth it? The quest takes 270 quest points to start - what the shit? sure you don't need the quest to wear it, but the fact that there's so few people out there who could be FUCKED to do it, that means the price is gonna stay pretty damn high.


Your thoughts?

 

Dragon chain isn't worth it, but doing the quest sure is. You get 100k x 4 exerperience in skills of your choice and then the lump which was 10-12mil days after release. Probably going to drop now, but no way you can complain about 400k xp and 10m for doing a quest. Not to mention the black elite and dragon'hai you'll get for doing the quest.

I also have to admit that 400k xp and 10m from 1 quest is a hefty amount of exp and cash. Along with the new armours, they look nice and give a nice bonus.

10m, a quest cape, reknown, 400k in skills, yeah i think its worth it...

plus all the other reawrds u wud get from the other quests...

 

Yea, it's not like all the other quests are gonna give you nothing. Granted some of them are pretty lame, but take RFD for example. Barrows gloves are THE best gloves to have in the game right now.

I don't see how it could not be worth it considering the rewards. You actually get rewarded cash and good XP for it. Since there's only one set of each armor (black elite and dragon'hai) getting brought in for every person that finishes the quest you can pretty much assume they will still be worth a pretty penny down the line. So if it's still gonna take a month or two for you to get there it won't be like it was wasted.

 

Anyone who has a quest cape spends to much time on rs, IMO

 

You guys keep saying 400k exp reward, think of the ammount of exp you have to have to get the requirements for the quest, then you'll notice 400k isnt much.

 

omg dragon pl8 is fail...dragon chain is nearly the same bonus and they look the same to me

 

The price has gone down 3.4mil.

 

Dragon plate and that quest will be forgotten very soon. However the 400k xp reward is very interesting ( i'd pick slayer, prayer or summoning btw )

 

It made the price of dragon legs tremendously. Should be about 1 mill in a couple of days and then I'll sell the 10 i bought for 10 mill at 500k each. WOOT!!

The requirements are simple. I have only 200 quest points and yet exceeded all of the requirements, most by over 10 skill levels. How often do I play? In the past year, roughly 1 hour a day if I'm lucky. There's no reason that others could do this quest and people really need to stop complaining about the requirements. They aren't that bad.

 

I don't know if the plate is really worth it, but as the others have said the quest is worth doing. You get 400k xp in a stat(s) of your choosing (as long as they are over 65 I think). And even if that stat is at 65 400k xp would do nicely in it.
