Let's look at some american muscle.
Corvette, coupe.
Lightweight, engineered for performance.

Let's look at a classic.
'68 Hemi Superbird, coupe.
Lightweight, engineered for performance.

 

Depends what skyline you look at as to how light weight you'd call it.

Not all coupe's are light, lots are pretty heavy otherwise the power of the car would send them flying off the road when they take a corner.

 

Most coupes are lighter, than a 4-door, because of less metal, etc..

And yes, weight is needed blah..

Actually, a Subaru WRX is much lighter than a Skyline.

 

Lighter than which model? Theres a shitload of difference between the weight of an R32 and an R34, i'm not sure about the R35.

Also you can get Sedan Skylines.

But yea the srt-4 is a souped up car...Dodge made the car 3 years in a row (2003, 2004, 2005)

The first year the car was a piece of shit barley any better than the stock version (neon) It was pushing about 215 horses at about 12 psi?

The 2004 and 2005 models is where they stepped up the stats...It was running about 250 stock.

His was an 04.

Dodge took a break on the srt-4 series until this year I think? They busted out the Srt-4 Caliber. The caliber blows in comparison to the srt-4 neon. Neon sounded so much better and was way lighter and looked alot nicer I feel.

And as for those super cars I have really no respect for the people who drive them because MOST of the time they don't even know what they have/what they're running/etc. . .

R34: Curb weight: 1540kg

R35: I don't know the weight, but it's the same motor that is in an Infiniti G35, except it is not turbo.

 

Its the power to weight ratio that matters, not just the normal weight lol.

Which are you saying is non turbo? I'm not sure what a Infiniti G35 is but i know the R35 is a Twin Turbo.
