    Obama Vs. McCain

I'd like to know who YOU think was the better candidate.

Please vote in the poll and comment. If you comment, please state why you feel the way you do and what supports your argument. Don't say things like "Obama ftw" or "McCain pwns". I'm genuinely interested in your opinion and who you think was the better candidate. Post away!

On policies? McCain. It doesn't matter, though, since they're both puppets.

Either way, America is screwed. But Obama will screw it up more then McCain would.

I'm afraid I disagree. Obama's policies were stated clearly and intelligently, whereas during the debates all McCain did was insult Obama, yet Obama still calmly continued and treated McCain with respect. This strikes me as a very intelligent and well put together man. Would you care to elaborate on why you believe Obama would "screw it up"?

If I HAD TO vote, I would chose the lesser of 2 evils, which is Obama. And as Tgump said, they're both puppets anyway.

Obama, I support his politics, everything he says, just is great the way he wants to change this country.
I believe the election was based on racism though, so i dont believe it was fair how he won, but im glad he did, my whole family is white and we support obama :D

im pretty sure there was something said about this, even though I wholeheartedly agree with you:
I think Obama is a great change in society, the world is progressing, and we are slowly becoming a more accepting and tolerant place as a whole. Mcain would die before he finishes his job as president and Sarah Palin would end up as the leader of the US.... lol, come on.

Yes, Sarah Palin would be more of a threat to the U.S than the Al'Qaeda.

I don't really trust either of them.

Obama isn't exactly giving me hopes about the future, and Sarah Palin just makes me hate McCain.

I agree. I do think Obama is better than McCain though, and likewise for Hilary vs. Palin. I'm just glad Barack won and not Hilary.

Something about Obama makes me want to see him on Tv, listen to him on the radio and read about him in the newspapers I think he was probably the best candidate even though he had probably all of the black Americans voting for him.

I don't believe he will be assassinated because of the Secret Service. They won't let him die, believe me.

And I like Obama, he is changing things that people are too selfish to give up themselves. If you voted for McCain nothing big was going to change.

Um can we have a "they both suck" option?
Honestly, there is virtually no difference between either of them, they are both statists.

Obama is a man who believes that you should steal from the rich and give to the poor.

My family, is definitely some of the people who will receive money if it's only taxes from the rich, to go to the poor.

But, if I had a choice, I wouldn't accept the money.

Liberals are all for higher taxes.
Higher taxes does NOTHING for help the economy. It takes money out, which makes us spend less, which drives the economy down.

Also, on Obama's "Classroom Corps", now way in hell, is he going to force me to do ~100 hours of community service.

Obama is pro abortion, and McCain wants a war. If I was old enough to vote I wouldn't have voted for either of them. Hopefully in 4 years when the next election comes around, you'll see my vote for the republican. If the guy/girl is bad then I might not vote for either.

I wouldn't just not vote because someone is democrat/republican.

I'd like at both candidates, and see which ones fit my needs the best, and vote for that person.
And also, McCAIN doesn't want a war, he just wants to finish this strategic operation, and stay there.

    There's a difference.. lol
