Hows would that look for you? you could add more cpu speed and memory if you wanted. Plus it they same laptop they use to sell ubuntu so it can be completely open source too.

 

Dell is one of the biggest names in reselling hardware. They dont actually make it, just order bulk parts from OEMS like Asus, Compal, Quanta, etc.

AHHHH!!!! You spent $1500+ dollars on a laptop and didnt even get a dedicated GPU? For the price that really doesn't seem good at all....

When you go with companies like Dell, Alienware or HP, you start to pay more for a laptop because it has to go through multiple resellers before you actually get the computer. None of those companies actually make the computers they sell; they just get the parts and put their names on them.

Oh, and hey, its $600 dollars off right now. You wouldnt be able to get anything close to that from Dell or HP for less then 2 grand, so 1400 is a steal.

 

Yeah dell is certainly a brand to stick away from, they appear cheap, stylish and sexy, But under the covers there really not.

Terrible service, poor build quality and there renounded for giving up one way or tother fair soon

HP, Compaq, Sony, Samsung are decent laptops without any/many major problems people encounter.

 

Thats good for a labtop, I'd suggest get alot of ram, for gaming.
