ok...ppl thats sayin wow has too many buttons and shit are just too slow or lazy to take a few mins and figure it out....and wow doesnt cost that much for the quality of it...look at wat rs is at now...u can do alot more stuff on wow...theres tons and tons of more quest on wow...plus the battle grounds and dungeons...so how is it when u hit 70 u cant do anything else? u have proffesions..and it will take u forever to get the best gear...and theres more of a selection of things to be not just a mage pure or all combine witch sucks...bigger world less limits...better game....still love rs tho....just think wow is better

Max lvl on WoW "70" is when the game pretty much starts mate, thats when you start going on proper raids and soloing with your mates and stuff FOR the best gear, as such with Runescape AKA Godwars Dungeon where you go and solo/team against them for some cash and some of the best gear in game such as Bandos and shit, with WoW, ive never plyed it before but my old mate in Tasmania you'se to play it, WoW I personally think shits all over Runescape mainly because of the game play and graphics, aswell as opportunities to get a mount to get from A to B quicker than on RS when you just tele or run to your destination, WoW is simply alot more fun than Runescape, Even when your on tutorial, its a pointless fucking thing to do on Runescape, with wow its worth it because it's litterally setting you up for the rest of your gaming..

The worst thing about WoW is that you gotta pay like $20 a month or some bs and you have to download it, other than that it owns Runescape.

I would prefer Runescape less buttons and mainly you can't do anything without clicking Runescape is clicking nothing can be done without clicking besides moving the screen but that besides the point.

 

WoW for sure because there's a ton of shit to do, but it depends what you like. If you just like skilling, play rs, if you like doing quests and leveling up then play WoW. The overall pros and cons of the games ends up to have WoW with the more pros than cons compared to RS, so WoW is better in my opinion.

Most people are obviously going to say RS because more people play RS on this forum opposed to WoW.

Another thing about Runescape is that it is so hard to make money. In WoW you get 2 professions only, but you can make a lot of money with them. In Runescape you have to chop 10k yews for only 4m, when you want to buy a god sword which is like 20m. That's why I stopped playing Runescape, because I couldn't make money, at least not quickly enough.

1. broswer based no downloads
2. wow needs high graphic cards etc.
3. runescape can be played on alot of computers even primitive ones like windows 95.
5.world of war craft $15 buckets a month plus the upgrade c.ds.

 

Don't always need a high graphics card, but true.. does help, and WoW has more buttons, but you get used to it in a week, and you'll love it.

 

After playing both rs and wow, I always seem to come back to RS.
Most skills, variety.

Turkish man... I played wow for 3 months and didn't get used to the buttons... also a fucking 100 hour tutorial isn't fun... If you don't know what I mean, you're stupid. Also, whoever thinks the quests are better in WOW is dumb... the gist ( Go... Kill... Collect... Repeat)
Runescape wins, but both suck

Firstly, just because WoW has downloads doesn't mean Runescape is better PLAYING wise. Secondly, I don't have a good graphics card and the game runs fine for me, and it doesn't affect the game PLAYING wise. Third, WoW can be played on any computer as long as it has enough space, and this doesn't affect the games PLAYING wise. Fourth, just because a game costs more doesn't mean the other is better than the other.

I don't blame you though, back when I only played rs and never played wow, I thought wow sucked, until I played it. A few things that rs needs to fix are easier money making in the game, mounts, separate classes (mage, warrior, priest, etc.), group dungeons/raids, and different factions. The main reason I quit rs was because it's so freaking hard to make money in that game. If I wanted a godsword the best way I could get one is by cutting 50k yew logs. I don't have the time for that and that makes the game like a part time job; it's a game playing for fun, not working like a job.

 

Never played wow, and never will since I refuse to pay 15 bucks a month for a game I will play for a week, then not play again for months... I have GuildWars, mostly since my friends play it and my brother bought all of the games for it... I play RS when I am bored out of my mind... Might play rs for 3 days, get bored of it... play gw for a week, get bored of it... i get bored of every game so quickly, that its not worth it....

@mdv dude... cost does effect game play... if you got a shit comp, you can not play, or it lags a lot... thats gameplay... broswer effects gameplay a damn lot... it makes it so the graphics can not be as good, which effects gameplay... =.=

rs is cheaper and free lol...idk, im scared to get addicted to WoW

 

I much prefer rs and you should have added this as a poll to see what the sythe community thinks.
RS is simpler to understand and it has the longeivity
