    Pvp drop algorithm

Ok i did like 10 nearly same tests with friend , both skulled had 100k+ to lose , potted , all time fighting with d scim and k0ing with dds , but 8 times it was total junk worth 10-15k and 2 times it was 100-130k worth , so it seems very random in my opinion , what do u think about it?

10 times ? That is deff. not enough to get any clear picture. Some people from RuneE are looking for the real formula, including the Runescape Forums them selves. Their is some kind of formula. We'll get there in the end like we found the formula for Combat Level, and so on.

But their is no way it could be random.

But then jagex will begin to rotate their formula, or even edit it so it is not in one position all the time. Otherwise when it's found out this will crash prices of the real expensive stuff like D Full Helms, Whips etc.. (even though DFH are already going)

I was trying this with my m8 in f2p pking he took 25k and I took full rune and everything. We done this in the Wildy we were both skulled we only done it two times and I got the two kills. On the first drop I got rune kiteshield and rune pickaxe. On the second kill I got rune Kitehsield and rune warhammer. Here's pics of the drops:

Perhaps this was just luck? Maybe it does depend on the roll of the dice. I doubt it though.

    According to Jagex:

"How can I increase my chances of getting good drops?
Several factors determine the value of the drops you can receive. These include, but are not limited to:

    * Your Combat level.
    * Your opponents' Combat level.
    * The value of items you would lose on death.
    * The value of items your opponent lost.
    * How long you have survived in a dangerous area on the PvP world (continuously re-entering a safe area has a negative effect on your drop potential).
    * How many players you have killed on the PvP world recently (if you kill several players in a short amount of time, the quality of your drops will go down).
    * Whether you are in a hot zone.

Drops will improve if you are carrying at least 75,000 coins' worth of items (or 25,000 coins' worth on a free world) that you will lose if you die - your three most valuable items are not included in this. To get better drops, your victim must also lose at least 25,000 coins' worth of equipment.

Note that if you risk significantly more than 75,000 coins in items, your drops will not improve further, nor will they improve if your opponent loses 25 million coins' worth of items - the values are minimum boundaries.

In general, the most important factors are the value of items you are risking, the amount your opponent drops and how long you have survived (ideally in a hot zone). A good tactic is to let your drop value build up by training in a hot zone for a while (which will be especially beneficial if you have some brawling gloves), then try to get a kill or two for a better chance of some good drops. Then you can go back to training to let your drop value increase again.

Note that if you die, your drop value will temporarily increase to compensate you for your loss, but it won't get you the value of your lost items - it's not a sensible way to get good drops!"

Seems that this a pretty big formula. 7 different variables, ouch.

If so, the reason would probably be RWT and Scamming/Luring and such.

But, knowing that there is 7 variables, the chance of finding out a pattern/rotation would be pretty hard. But it is possible.

If you only have a d scim + a dds, and are fighting, if you protect the D scim your chances for loot abosultely crash. Its under 75k if you pray the scim, so I am guessing your information is flawed. AND! I think it is random, so people can not abuse it. If there is a way to get past it, than it would be abused, just like the hits. Random hit generators > Glitchers who hit 43/43/43/43/43 and shit.

Oh, that's why I wouldn't ever get a decent drop I keep running back and forth between the bank and the PvP Area 0.0

some of it would be random in my opionin, the variables to the drop factors wud determine the net worth in drop, then the randomsness of which items wud then come into it. this way its hard to abuse. and if it gets figured out how to abuse it, they will just change it...

Sacred clay armour counts as good items to lose too!

what i wore was full melee sacred clay armour, legends cape, addy boots, good shield, power ammy.

In my inv i had 2 granite lobster pouches, ~200 tireless run scrolls, 1 magic shortbow, 1 games necklace and rest any food.

I let my friend kill me and..
I was not skulled and i saved addy boots, shield, granite lobster pouch.

From what i lost theres no way 25k~ and the drops he kept getting every time were 100-150k+ lol

killing same person in row isn't going to improve your loot. However it used to work before , and now you can do that with 3 players

Here's a formula i came up with. Your loot depends on
    1) your time spent without banking
    so first
spend about 30 minutes standing in a hotspot
    2) skulled or not
bring 75k worth of stuff. more money doesnt affect drops. i have found this out
    3) Jagex rewards you for effort. I found out by dying first, then standing somewhere for 30 minutes, and killing your friend with 75k, your drops tend to me about 437k or more. i averaged my drops.
    4) Drops are based on skills. Jagex's drop tables are on your side when you use skills. I AM NOT going to tell you what i do to get 1M+ drops. but there is a way. it's not 100% though. i found that out. sometimes i got guthix plate or d scim. other times i got some tunas. it's random but manipulate as many factors as you can. Hint*
