Cradle of Filth is a great band but they are Black Metal / Extreme Metal

 

why is it that in one of there songs when i use it on itunes it comes up with death metal and the lyrics are about killing x girl friends??

 

Im not a huge fan of death metal, But children of bodon is fairly alright.

 

Itunes is shit.
death metal is not about killing x girl friends
killing x girl friends = screamo bullshit
the band is a failure.

 

grindcore can focus on killing people, cutting up guts and eating intestines

 

Yes but it's much more darker then killing an ex gf over a breakup or some dumb shit. if you're trying to say that band is grindcore you seriously made me die a bit inside.

I like it but if lyrics is the distinguishing point, but you can't understand what their saying, does it make a difference, it's all screamin but I love it lol

 

It's not just the lyrics although they are a part of it, it's how the song is played harmonix used etc. that divides them. some are played deeper an darker others are melodic etc.

 

grindcore is more of a comedy genre
like they are no serious about it

real shit like that is from europe like norway, black metal etc

Black metal bands have lost there sense of being the "crazy ones" or what ever you would call it. It seems as if black metal died out with mayhem.

 

I have to admit to not being a huge fan of Death Metal, but I went to Damnation Festival in Leeds, and I have to admit, the bands are fucking awesome live.
BTW, what genre are Carcass? They were incredible.

 

Carcass is melo-death metal but they have been through a few transitions.
