    It's not meant to be anything in specific, just a lit up orb in a fantasy generic environment.

    The light is to thick, lower the opacity and try to make it sharper.

    What I see wrong here, you can see in the example of a work I made a year and half back. Make sure your light is effecting the object itself, and the environment. It should not look like the room is foggy with the light being as harsh as it is.

    I would not say that the work I'm showing you is perfect, because I have since found ways of making it better, but I expect you can learn a few tricks only from looking at the work.

    I see what you mean.. The light did kind of effect the reflective gloss on the center center circle at the bottom but I did still screw up the global light from the only light source..

    The reason for the "fogyness" is because it just started to turn out like that, seeing as the background effects and features was not on my mind during the thoughts of making this.

    I think I really should have a second attempt at this and I will take your advice and that example you showed me into perspective. Thanks..
