Post Count and Join Date mean nothing. Vouches shouldn't be a basis of trust, you can basically buy them from people.
If your account gets hacked and they scam, you're responsible. No new accounts.

 

Much offense Sythe, this is 100 percent true. Trust should be expected and valued much more.

However what this says is true, Anyone can scamm thus every forums is the same, and there will always be spammers. And our mods do their best..

And wth all the stuff ive done, all the scammers ive seen have low post count, and the non scammers have 100+, actually.

 

Yeah this is how sythe has always been, people Judging you by post count, rank etc. But to be honest I know alot of people on here with low post counts who really contribute to the community. But sythe isn't at all a horrible place its just the people on here who try to act like assholes and shit. Plus there are alot of immature people on here as well.

 

People like you are people who make this forum shit.

If people had actually listened to you and left because they hadn't liked it, imagine how LOW the activity of this forum will be. This isn't a place for you to come in and post "dont like it, piss off" it's somewhere for people to post constructive criticism in order to make the place better with some effort, not for little pissheads like you to tell us to leave.

If sythe wants to choose those people who DID earn their trust, he can make them staff again. Its up to him.

Correction, SOME staff is doing a fine job. And the fact that they are busy doesn't give them the right to pretend they are better then everyone else and ignore them completly.

It should help the forum, if you do something to stop scammers, then people would stop complaining. Obviously the banning doesnt work anymore, so get something that people would be scared of.

My view on the MM is that they are completly unneccesary. Middle men should change to Trial MM's, and the OMM's should become MM's. And they shouldnt charge for people's safety, thats exactly why people dont want to use them. Middle men are usually not trusted, except the few who have like 500+ vouches. OMM are basically part of the staff, and charge people. Thats a big problem....

basically reformating the site may not help.. but it would stop middlemen to stop scamming because they would lose their trust.

And the thing you said about staff is complete bs. I know many intelligent people on this site, none are staff. The staff here isnt intelligent. im pretty sure if you saw the begining of their posts they were "Retarded" like everyone else.. once they become staff, they want to seem intelligent so they spend time on their posts to have it perfect. so you really cant say that the staff is intelligent.

Well said trigga. Most of the "respected" people on sythe are all mostly Assholes who think they are above everyone else for the reason of they have a flashy name and rank. I Really with there was a way to change sythe into a better community. x9 said that we need to stop complaining but rather pitch ideas. But I think that we need a rule of Treat everyone the way you want to be treated morel. If anyone breaks it then ban em. I've seen other communities that have been really helpful, curious, and respectful to all members new or old. But I think what would solve this whole problem would be if everyone is respectful to each other then nobody will have a reason to fight or argue. Regardless there will be some people who decide to be plain assholes and someone just needs to tell them to chill out or be banned. Simple as that.

 

True.. I only got 51 posts, But I have 3 vouches, and I have never scammed, Nor been scammed, And I still am labeled a scammer.

(No, If you ask people about me, They won't say I am a scammer, But in a convo with them, If I won't go first, They call me a scammer).

 

I find judging members by join date is a good way too see what they are like as a person... back when i first joined sythe and RS cheating/trading was booming sythe was a great forum. We actually had heaps of members here working on various things... Nowdays RS cheating is fail as is GP trading and basically sythe is deteriorating because of all the noobs who are like 12 years old joining then reading posts like this about scamming then thinking

"hmm, scamming, free money, i'll try that"

 

I'm just saying, you don't need to post a thread about this, if sythe does have shitty mods, etc, oh well, i guess people like community's with shitty mods.

I think that having high post count or vouches doesnt really count... they use that just for you to go first in a trade once they get what they want boom you dont ever hear of them again. if i could have a vouch for every time i got scammed id have the most vouches in this whole community

 

Well at risk of my own sythe account...
I want to complain about admins like shred, who arent nice or helpful at all and dont respect anyone, and i dont see how they keep adminship...

 

Bottom line - If you get scammed it is your own fault.

Use the black market at your OWN risk.
