How to Access the Built-In Administrator Accout [VISTA]

1) Right Click on Desktop, New, Text Document.

2) Type...
@echo off
cmd
echo on
Into the notepad, and save on your desktop as command.bat.


******************************************************************************************

3) Go to Desktop, Click on the new Batch file to open something called a command prompt.


******************************************************************************************

4) In your command prompt type...
[SPACEBAR]cd\[ENTER]Copy[SPACEBAR]C:\Windows\System32\Cmd.exe[SPACEBAR]C:\Winows\System32\Cmd.scr[ENTER]

5) Right Click Desktop, Personalize, Screensaver.


******************************************************************************************

6) Scroll down the the screensaver named "Cmd", and click (this will have administrative access). Type into the new command prompt
/cd[ENTER]Net[SPACEBAR]User[SPACEBAR]Administrator[SPACEBAR]12345[ENTER]Net[SPACEBAR]User[SPACEBAR]Administrator[SPACEBAR]/Active[ENTER]

7) Switch User, and log onto "Adminstrator" with the password "12345"

Congratulations, no more pop-ups to open programs, or annoying warnings. Full access to system files.

thats a nice guide, but does it work if the acc ur doing all that stuff is limited?

 

I've had it work on limited accounts, works with only some models of vista, but I have other ways to get onto an administrative account if I need. If you need to know how to do this contact me.

Thanks guys. I agree, the pictures do need to be more clear. I think I will update them to PNG rather than JPG. And yes desir, when your on a user account and try to do something that could potentially harm your system (downloading, installing, changing system settings), it asks for administration access; which after awhile can be - very tiresome. When it asks if you want to download it, it just proxies through the built in administrator account. If you use my guide, and log into the built-in account - you don't need to proxy through, therefore; no pop-ups.
