banned from market suggestion

i suggest that if a player scams, he should be banned

but if after a while EX. 1year he can come back if a Mod/admin lets him and say he's sorry for what he done, and if he wants to come back mabey you should let him, but Ban him from markets? i think this will be good

Stealing is stealing. The amount is not important.
If they get banned for scamming, then they won't be back anytime soon.

I don't like this idea, why do we want scammers coming back?

 

hmm if some scammers come back it will be good as long as they refund full amount and a permanant twc on them or suming along them lines .

 

If they have scammed they should be perm banned and not let back, by then they would of made a new account by then, banning there account wont stop a scammer.

 

No there should be no such thing as 'permanent bans'

One accomplishment from punishment is to try and reform the scammer, this is why i believe that after a certain ammount of time the scammer should be aloud back on the same account but on a warning. If the user was to disobey this warning then I believe a permanent ban would be in order.

Yet again I've contradicted myself as another accomplishment of punishment is by protecting the users of the forum, which I think is more important sorry.

Why question an Admin's position on a topic as such? These are rules that all must abide by.

This is not a prison. We are trying to protect other users from scammers, which is why we are banning them. They will just return and scam again if they have a TWC.

Note: TWC does not stop people from using the market section, only a market ban does.

 

So then, why aren't Market Bans implemented?

So in your world, you're allowing a person to not just scam once, but scam twice? There are people who create accounts who are ban evading all the time, and letting a scammer be able to scam twice before creating another account is proposterous.

I think if there is sufficient proof that he/she scammed for sure, they should be IP banned, no exeptions, from everywhere as they had cheated sythe users.

 

TBH, they should IP ban all scammers and give all sectionals global powers.

 

yeah, why ban them from the whole forums if they just had an offence in the markets?

Same with Private Server section? People post a lot of keyloggers most of them wanting to get banned. But it still would be nice

 

i disagree with this thread. if people get banned perm they should stay banned. No exceptions.
