Bounty hunter question

In bounty hunter, do you lose all your items except for 3, and can you get skulled and lose all? I've never really played bounty hunter before.
Or is their a link to where i could learn?, thanks.

You loose all no matter what unless you protect item.
However, if you have a penalty, you cant protect so if you die you will loose everything.
