Song Writers!

I'm interested in battling somebody. The lyrics are for a SLOW song, some examples of slow songs can be:

Lips of an Angel - Hinder
Old School - Hedley
Here without you - Three doors down
You and me - Lifehouse

If you haven't heard any of these songs just use our friend, Youtube!

Song can be any length you want. Doesn't have to rhyme, non-participating users will vote after the songs are finished.

Do you mean by "battling" each make there own song and people choose who they like more? not flaming etc. but just what ever one is more meaningful or who likes what? If this is the case you may want to post some requirements more requirements. I may be willing to battle you if this is how you are figuring this.

 

Yeah, basically write a song of your own style, and members can choose which they like best.

 

I might be interested but i think it'd take a while to write a good song, so many you should put a limit on how long it can be so theres less delay in songs.

Also you should make it freestyle, i want post-hardcore!

very well here is a quick one I made a little earlier. Tell me if it's long enough if not I can add to it or make a new one. The reason it's best to make a new thread though is because there will probably be a lot of posts and will be kinda hard to keep track of.

ehh your first song seemed more like a bunch of repetitive ramblings it started out like it might go somewhere but it didn't.. the second one I'm kinda having trouble believing you made considering there not even close to the same type of composing other than they both have to do with murder etc. or w\e. Not saying it isn't you but idk I guess time will tell.

P.s. is it ok if I use older songs as well? I have a full album of lyrics that I posted quite a few months ago on sythe but I doubt there will be many that will remember them. If so I got a lot more lol.

 

I was just thinking, maybe it'd be fairer if no older songs were used? Just because that way everyones had the same amount of time to write a song?

Meh, probably isn't that great. But I rushed the last line or so.

C&C would be appreciated. I know it's short, its supposed to have 2 more verses, but I lost inspiration.

It's good, the last verse like you said is lacking. but it's good. This is kinda why I figured we should make a new thread considering people can't vote here and not many people will bother looking.

I may change mine w\ a older one for now or remake my song etc. I didn't put a lot of thought in mine.
