Playstation 3!

I originally bought a PS3 the day it came out and got the 60 gb model which had EVERYTHING. Backwards campatibility, all usb ports, sd card readers etc etc. But recently my PS3 has been stolen. Since 60 gb PS3's aren't being sold anymore, and none of the current ones out are even half as good as the original 60 gb, do you think its even worth me getting another PS3?

Does anyone know of any decent PS3's coming out in the future?

The main reason i want a PS3 is for Final Fantasy XIII and XIII Versus when they come out. I used it as my dvd player etc too though so i'm completely bummed that i lost it.

So anyway, should i get a PS3 or not? Also don't say i should get an xbox360, if you say i should then i'll report your post for spamming. If anyone says PS3's suck, i'll report you for spamming. Just wanted to clear that up since i don't want people posting bullshit on my thread when i'm being serious.

And does anyone know anything about upcoming PS3 consoles or features?

Blu-Ray:
This is an old argument, but that doesn't make it wrong. When most Blu-ray players cost more than a PS3, you can convince yourself you're getting a bargain. Mainly because you are. Well, assuming you've already convinced yourself that re-buying all the films you already re-bought on DVD is the way forward, of course

And the PS3 Sixaxis controller does have motion-sensing technology inside, but it doesn't have a rumble function.

As to explaining how my PS3 got stolen, its not too easy to explain since i wasn't there lol.

I went on holidays on a Friday, came home on a Monday to find our computer stolen, my ps3 stolen, our Wii stolen, mums jewelery stolen, ipods, keys etc. Just usual stuff. I've made a claim with the police, gave them the serial number for my ps3 and they obviously haven't pawned in my ps3 at any legal shops otherwise it would've come up on the police computer system.

I've got an insurance claim and i might be able to get a cash payment instead of a ps3 replacement considering my model of the ps3 can not be bought anymore.

I'm sorry, the PS3 belongs in the landfill. Buy a 360, it has mostly all the same games and a lot of far better ones, plus the live is better. I'd rather have a gamecube than a PS3, at least I could play Super Smash melee.

when you buy a new PS3, you'll be able to re-download your content free.

 

Yeah you can re-download everything up to 5 times. I had some stuff that i downloaded from friends accounts onto my PS3 that i won't be able to get back which sucks .

 

You can call SOny are something, give them your Mac Adress, and they could give you the IP of (your PS3), once you've got the IP it is only a matter of time.

 

The Mac Address is on the PS3 so i can't find out my Mac Address without my PS3. So yeah, kind've sucks since i was considering doing that option. Also they wouldn've had to go online with it to track them down, they are probably bums with no internet.

 

My mum got my sister and old ps3 on as well so she can play ps1 & 2 games on it!! she paid more than the actual ps3 are normally though, because they don't make them so you can play the old games on anymore. And she is getting Sign star on ps3 heheheh oooo it's gonna be an awesome xmas !!

 

80GB ps3's are still selling, has all the same stuff. Its what i bought but i instantly upgraded it to a 120 GB.
