This guide will show you how to make an animated Avatar/Sig as the examples below:

Requirements:
An editing video program (Windows movie maker in this case).
Internet connection.
Somewhere to add your gif.

If your using images go to part 4.2

If your using a video read this:

3. Editing Your Video.

First take a 4 second long video.

Open Windows movie maker.
You will see something like this:

Go to file>import into collection or click where the picture says
and look for the pictures, video you want to add as a gif.

Now drag them to the storyboard at the bottom
[IMG]

Finally drag the ones in the storyboard to make them shorter just as the
picture shows:

Now save and close it.

4. 1 Uploading your video

Open any internet browser.
Go to: http://www.gifninja.com/

Now click on convert video to gif:

Now on browse and look for the file you made earlier.

Click on:

5. Adding It as your avatar in sythe

This is really simple so no pics.

5.1Copy the code that has [IMG} remove the URLl and the text.
5.2Go to sythe and click user cp.
5.3Now click edit avatar.
5.4Paste the code there.

Making An Animated Avatar

Thanks for the share ;) It's quite helpful to many people who are looking for something to do with their avatar. A few things to add;

1) The avatar size limit is 80x80 - keep that in mind (so people don't make it too big).
2) When you go to create a custom avatar, you don't need the tags. You only need the direct link to the image.
3) You can find totally free .gifs created for signatures and avatars here: www.giftube.com, so you can just use that as an avatar.

For example, to use this image found on Giftube.com, http://giftube.com/gif/Blooper-13381, you need to find the URL of the image.

One way to do this is to right click it and select "View Image" or "Open Image" and then copy and paste the URL in the address bar. Another way is on Giftube, if you scroll down, you will see this at the bottom:
MySpace: <a href="http://giftube.com/"><img src="http://www.videobeta.net/gifs/13381.gif" alt=""></a>. It is quite easy to see that the URL of the .gif is "www.videobeta.net/gifs/13381.gif" so you would copy and paste that into your Avatar (after re-sizing it). Voila!

What you provide is worthy of a 9/10 based on effort and quality, but to improve the quality in my eyes, just try to incorporate these tips :) Nice job.
