Elite Black armour, Related to new Dragon Plates?

    This new armour called Elite Black has been released at the same time as the Dragon plate.

    Is their a connection?
    Something to do with the new quest?

    The Elite Black Armor was released along with a new "dagon'hai" robe set. I believe it is dropped by NPCs encountered only during and after the new Master Quest, making it essentially as rare as the new Dragon Platebody

    Only a couple people have these items so far, after I get 3 herb levels I will begin the quest and learn more.
