One Point Infraction For Gravedigging

I'd like to review my 1 point infraction for grave digging this post: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=4057012#post4057012

That specific thread was already at the top of the Community General section. I assumed the last post was recent, since it was at the top of the list. Is asking for the links to be fixed such a quandary?

Also I believe the real problem with grave digging is going back to [for example] the last page, and posting in a very old thread just to bring it back and annoy others. Seeing as this thread was already at the top of the section, I see no reason I should receive an infraction, especially as I was just asking for his photos to be fixed. By definition of the rules it is grave digging, but under the circumstances [that the thread was already at the top of the section] I feel that this single infraction may be overlooked, perhaps replaced with a warning. I will be sure to check the dates of threads from here on in, even if they are at the top, to ensure this does not happen again.
