I received a 7-day ban for bumping a thread from @Gladiator. It would be nice to receive a warning or to be informed that I’m doing something wrong before getting a whole week ban.

You received a 7-day thread lock on your offending thread, not a 7-day ban - there's quite a difference. On your thread I linked you the changes we made back in September, here: https://www.sythe.org/posts/39843489/. In the hopes you read through them.

You then made a thread in Support, which I answered, here:

You then PM'd me: https://i.imgur.com/C8aFYMX.png (but unfortunately still didn't read the thread) and I answered you.

You also brought up points about wanting an automated function and I linked you to the suggestions forums if you wanted to push forward a change. The reason why you don't get a warning/notification for bumping under 4 hours is also explained in the very first thread I linked (yesterday), here: An update to the bump system. This is to allow people to use vouches as bumps to bypass the 4 hour limit.

Yes, automation would be nice as you stated in your message, you’ve been dealing with 50+ users with breaking the same rule, incredible.

Pretty fair mod also really active and doesn't take days or weeks to answer here or on Discord.
Up to find some type of solution to your forum problems which is rare.
Yes, the word i used already but must to say it again: fair.
I think a mod should be fair so i think you are doing a pretty decent job.

I guess you're doing a good job? Never recieved a warning from you before. I was here before you were and I must have left when you weren't a mod, so I guess what I am trying to say is that I have never had a problem with you.
Keep up the good work I guess? Even though personally I think you deserve some kind of pay for the hard? work that you do. But, obviously I don't make that judgement call.

never had a problem good fair mod, a1 for effort, #free dbuffed hes an og, and his banning was unfair, imho, other then that you seem like a cool guy, but yeah unban dbuffed
