noob pker

i have gone from playing rsc to now starting to play rs2 i loved the pking in rsc and am told that the pking is very different and i have even been told that f2p players cannot pk? i was woundering if someone could set me straight and recomend an easy to make solo pker along with what items are needed (as there is weight benifits and bonuses?) i will not be joining a team due to the fact that i feel i am not expierenced enough and i know in rsc there were alot of bsers.

 

Pking is very different in rs2, it's a controlled player vs. player environment now. It's best to pk in teams because you'll get dominated if you pk by yourself. Since the new pvp update, the majority of players made their accounts into tanks, getting 70+ def. If you have low stats I suggest you get your range up and defence, rangers own all. In f2p you should wear a Rune Large Helm, Amulet of Power, Green Dhide Body, Green Dhide Chaps, Leather boots, Green Dhide vambs, Maple longbow, and a cape if you really want.

 

so just high def and high range is what your saying?

 

yeah, unless you want to do Bounty Hunter(http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=565) but no one really does that anymore. Range 2h's are the best pkers in Runescape, So don't <b>just</b> get high def and range bc you need some strength too, don't worry about getting attack above 40 for now because you're only using it for one hit.

 

wow wow wow. im not up todate on alot of the new stuff. range 2hs? and what do you mean with the 40 attack for just one hit?

 

Range 2h is when you have high range, for me: 90 range and I also have 97 str and then 40 attack, so you range your opponent and then pull out your 2h to do a "last" hit because your r2h hits the highest and sometimes/most times will hit high so you finish with a k0

this is better because instead of just ranging and hitting 15's, you can rapidly hit 15's and then pull off a k0 with a 28

it's unexpected and quick, you will probably need practice on timing for pulling out your 2h because right as you're hitting the person with your 2h click your bow and then keep clicking them so you hit right after instead of a delay

 

so your switching eveytime from ranged to your 2h? or just when you think they are low on hp?

 

just when they have low hp, sometimes if you're bored you can switch whenever you want. So say they have 75 hp, you hit 15 14 15 10 so now they are at 21 hp and you pull out your 2h and hit a 21, k0
