This is a great idea but if you restrict it to a certain amount of people or post count people can just create @sythe.org emails through an email exploit from like 2007 o_O

so i think you should give it through registration in a automated message i.e. if jay87 joins sythe then his email would be [email protected].

Yes, I'd definately use it. Although make a post requirement of like 500+ posts or something so people don't just leach them.

I think that if we made it though, their needs to be a full proof way to make it so people dont use fake e-mails like others, such as, [email protected] then [email protected]. We need some type of register full proof cover of some sort, anyways I love the idea, and look forward to it possibly being here in the future!!!!

yeah i liek this idea it would stop imposters..lets say you get one on sign up then you have to have it as you REAL email as no one could copy uless they did something to it =S like [email protected] and imposter = [email protected] but still then it would be hard ot get but only 1 problem..would these emails be compatible with MSN?

I wouldn't use these, And i don't think all that many people would.

I knwo they all say they will, But once the novelty of having a sythe.org address wares away, People will just stop using them

It Will create imposters obviously, And alot of people are foolish enough to fool for 'simular' names to trusted members, so i dont think the whole '[email protected]' would work, unless there is a post requirement of like 300 to get one.

I would use it, and I think it would be great for staff. But I think there should be some restrictions on who can get a sythe.org email and who can't.

Yes, I think this should be tied in with our own sythe username. This will stop scammers once and for all. It should then be manditory to have a sythe email during blackmarket trades. This would stop most scammers because Sythe would know their IP adresses. People might be narbs and try elite/cgi/php proxies but I think most scammers are stupid. We could also instant ban imposters. This would give sythe alot more power over the blackmarket, which I think is kind-of out of their control at the moment.

    Just an idea,

Then he'd or a nother admin would have to make the emails for people, and that would be like "OMG 139,000 emails togo"

scratch that, they could probably make it to were when you register, that the email is registered with it.

You could just make it so when you register, your name becomes registered with the @sythe.org thing, so if I made a new name for any reason, named like xx245xx245xx, [email protected] would automatically be registered
