Samsung vs Apple phones, What to get? [Question]

So i'm getting a phone upgrade soon and have been trying to figure out what to get.

I have had the samgsung phones FOREVER now, but am finally going to be using my phone for more than just watching youtube etc.

I plan on using the phone to record video outside, and possibly use it to do some light editing?

My question is, is it worth going away from something like the note 10, and getting the Iphone 11 pro max?

I would say my two choices now were between the note10+ and the 11 pro max (assuming it comes with air pods?)

Not worth switching to 11 pro max if you've been using samsung forever.

I had Samsung 2 now i have Samsung 6 never had any problems but still my next phone is going to be Huawei p30 Pro which im getting today.

Why huawei well simple because that phone offers way more as Samsung/Iphone for better price. If you are going to use it to record / take pictures go for huawei way better camera than Samsung or Iphone.

 

For sure. If you decide to go with an Android you should get Huawei. Their quality directly competes with Apple and Samsung but has a fraction of the price. I however would never convert to Android because I'm a brainwashed apple fan boi.

 

Samsung, this is my first time using a samsung phone and hands down its got the best features. Software wise, i really like that samsung has an option to use two accounts for the same app like whatsapp, snapchat, instagram etc. I use two networks and its really nice to have two seperate accounts for each app. Thumbs up for samsung

 

IMO, Samsung is better. Apple is what some may consider a higher quality brand but its mostly due to the social symbol of the apple trademark. There are better flagships that have specs that are astronomically better than apple other than just Samsung. I'd consider Oneplus, Huawei and Samsung specs wise. From my knowledge, i believe huawei has the best cameras on the market right now.
I'd go for the note 10 if I were you, I dont believe Airpods come with Apple phones unless offered by the seller.

 

I'm really liking Samsung's UI atm. Although the camera's better, I think you're still better off with a real camera than using your phone

 

I'm a biiiig fan of the iPhone 11. It's pretty cheap too I think $600 through Sprint at Best Buy with a $30 unlimited plan?

I actually prefer the 11 display, and even so it’s not worth $400

Couldn't agree more, After owning countless models of both manufacturers the android platform is the long term happiness imo. You've got significant more options for whatever you want to do.

I have had 1-2 android phones in my lifespan of 6-7 phones and honestly they didn't meet my expectations. People who had told me to get them also changed their opinions later in the year etc. too
I find that yes it is customisable and open source, but at the same time can be a little clunky and slow at times.
My current phone is the iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb and it is honestly one of the best phones I have ever had. My favourite goes to the iPhone X, the introduction of faceID, and the gestures to switch apps, no physical home button etc. just felt nice.
IOS is also very streamlined, efficient and easy to use. I found that my 60 year old family friend even managed to pick up IOS quite well after owning an iPhone for a few months.
The unity between all apple devices is key to me, being able to link my iPhones to my MacBook pro, and my airpods to both etc. is very convenient. Things like FaceTime and iMessage are godsends.

 

Stick with samsung if you've used their products for that long.

 

fanboy* While Apple iOS is very simple, the internals of an iPhone are all high quality, thoughtfully placed, and easily replaced. No exploding batteries etc. iOS is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate quickly. The Note 10 is still an amazing phone, the only android I'd ever consider if I needed something more than just a phone...
