How to get on blocked sites at school. [THE REAL WAY]

my school blocks the word proxy... but i found out it doesnt block proxies/proxie or pr0xy

 

So did this work for you?

Yeah it worked for me, but I rarely have the time to fool around on the computers at school now, since they now watch me. One of my friends told them that i shutdown all the computers in the computer lab by typing shutdown-i and looking for the computers names.

 

Would be good for a place like middle school, in my high school they monitor what you type..if you type the word proxy then you're screwed. This guide is probably useful for other people though so don't take my criticism too seriously.

 

Just one problem... What if the google site is blocked? lol.

EDIT: Btw right after you click on one of the links for step 4 can you close the link you just opened and then go on any website or do u have to keep it open and then do whateveR?

Yeah, it just depends on how strict your schools system is.

1) If the Google site, that shows the links. I'd hate to be at your school. I know ways around it, and would post 'em if you'd like.

2) When you click on one of the links in Step 4, the Proxy Site will most likely open in a new tab. Keep the Proxy Site page open, but you may close the list of Proxies.

 

1) What happens when the school blocks the Google Groups proxy page?
2) How is this any different from posting a proxy list?

I was hoping something more along the lines of Merchant's guide that describes a detailed way of accessing blocked sites (that could get you in trouble) WITHOUT the usage of a proxy list. But still, it definitely works for a lot of people and is well written, so 8.5/10

 

1) I will post how to, when I get home from school.
2) This is very different, because when just posting a list of proxies. They'll most likely be blocked the very next day. I show how to find a daily-updated list and provide you with proxies that aren't blocked.

-could have another idea, possibly a VPN method which I am working on trying at school

and, at my school on internet explorer, the connections tab is blocked!
