Hello Sythe friends. I have decided to write a guite about Merchenting, wich is what I do with one of my accounts while I play on my main. It's really simple to Merchant. Enjoy and Rate =D



1- Requirements:
About 380k [For Guthix Kite or + for superior Kites]
About 1.7M [For Guthix Set or + for superior Sets]




2- What to know:

- From my experience in this, Kites are by far the fastest way if you only have about 380k.

- NEVER Buy / Sell for a default price (Lowest, Medium, Higest). When buying add some Gp depending on the price (Ex: Guthix Kite for Medium Price + 300gp / Zamorak Set for Medium price + 3K) and When selling sell for some Gp Less (Ex: Guthix Kite for Medium Price - 3k / Zamorak Set for Medium Price - 20K).. These small margins will give you priority as people usually buy or sell for the default prices.

-If you are F2P don't hesitate to use both of your G.E. slots to buy/sell ! You can be buying in one and selling on another.. This is much easier for P2P as the 6 slots are pretty usefull.





3- The Basics:



These are the Three God Sets



I picked Guthix for this guide as it is the most affordable one [~1.7m]

This is what a Guthix Armour Set (l) contains:



Sets can be (l) or (sk)
(l) sets - Platebody, Full Helm, Kiteshield, Platelegs
(sk) sets - Platebody, Full Helm, Kiteshield, Plateskirt


(l) sets are faster and easier to deal with. (They also give more profit)





4- What to do:

First you check what's happening with the set:


The price went up so you buy for MEDIUM (plus ~2k) and sell for MAXIMUM (less ~10k)
If the price went down, buy for LOWEST (plus ~2k) and sell for MEDIUM (less ~10k)

I sold for less 20K as it goes much much faster and will still make me some easy 100k.




5- Some tips

- If you wish to make a few extra Gp while waiting for the items to Buy / Sell, try decanting Strength potions! Just buy them (3) at minimum (plus 3gp) and Decant them by right clicking Bob Barter (Herblore guy on G.E.). Sell them for MAXIMUM!

Yes, I do it all the time.. 1K pots = 40k prof in 5 mins

 

What do you think about merching Corrupt weapons? I heard noone buys them. But the price is just going up. Like from 250k to 2.5M RSGP.

 

Absolute Crap in my oppinion. They are extremly unstable and can rise 100k in one day and fall 1m the next. Also, I've tryed it myself and it's almost impossible to buy. I left it buying for about 1 week @ max.. nothing..
You can try it tho.. Might be like playing on the lottery

nice guide but that every 4 hours, you got to either buy the set pieces 2k lower then market... then set it up and sell straight away for 10k market make 20k per set.. but buying and selling sets are rubbish you go to wait four whole hours for i too sell.

its pretty hard to buy I have to leave it overnight per trade XD

 

Same here but at least I make 150k per night by doing nothing
For example, I decide to alch for $ and exp. Why can't I be making some $ in the G.E. while I do it? Just keep your $ in the G.E. =D It kinda belongs there xD
