Banned for "plagiarism"?!?

I was recently banned for "plagiarizing" and I am guessing in a thread in which sythe members were contradicting religions in an Off-Topic thread. I specifically QUOTED AND CITED MY TEXT and was still accused of plagiarizing!?! For those of you whom are ignorant, plagiarism is the act of taking ones text and directly stating as your own "work". This, however, was specifically avoided by me when I happened to cite the text that I had taken from a specific author. I do not find any reason for my ban, any legitimate reason in which I disobeyed any rules / regulations. If a moderator / admin would please take notice in this ban, it would be most greatly appreciated.
