How to create a Website. [Not Freewebs]

Welcome, to another one of my guides.. Today, i will be discussing on how to make a website.

You Need 2 things to start your Website.

1) A domain (_______.com, ________.net, etc. [tk. is free])

2) A web host. (Vbulletin, Godaddy etc.)

I advise before you just lunge in making one, you should think about a few idea you want and you should ask yourself. (what should my website be? a money making site?, a forum? etc.)


-Web Hosting-
To find good web-hosting you should look up some of the sites you've heard
most about. I recommend Vbulletin or Godaddy. (Vbulletin IS expensive.) Web- hosting plans can very in many different ways (cost, rules, satisfaction etc.) so THINK, and chose carefully, when your on the step of web-hosting.

-Template Builder Hosting-
This type of website hosting is the easiest to use because no software or programming is needed. Pre-created website templates makes this hosting alot more easy for the person.

Planning ideas for your website is critical. especially if you want to make money online. Don't just jump into creating your website. Take some time thinking about the best topic for your site.

If you want your site to be noticed, big and popular.. if you have the extra money go to www.google.com/adsense and they can ad your website on google. but it costs though.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR WEBSITE

-Getting your Domain.-
-First, you have to go get your domain. (I recommend Godaddy) now, choose a payment method and enter what you want your domain to be etc. and purchase it!


-Getting Your Web-Hosting-

[FORUMS]
I recommend Vbulletin, and for this you can buy a leased license (1 year) or an owned license. (unlimited).


[WEBSITES]
I recommend Hostmonster, because its rated #1 Web-hoster, and my friend had it. this is a very CHEAP and RELIABLE web-host.


Now that you have your web-hosting and domain, type in your domain in your adress bar, and theres your site!. now you can go to the admincp, and add mos, section, forums, threads whatever you want.

You should add domain '***' wich is free (last time I checked). Not a bad guide, I would suggest some more details though.

You tell the reader what you need to make a website but not actually how to.

Good guide but I think you forgot the whole purpose. How to CREATE a website, not finding hosting :-S

[EDIT] Also I suggest taking the part off about adsense. All that does is waste money, and barely anyone clicks the ads. I got this advise from Sythe, so I'm sure it is accurate.

thanks. i've added some more on how to actually pay for it. thats all people really needed to know because when your done with that you go to your site. and do the modding and edit the site manually.
