    My new logo.

It looks very rough and unprofessional, Logo's have to be clean and simple to work like they should work: be memorizable

    My new logo.

It's not much of a logo - This is LogoType. A logo itself has to represent what you are, not what you do. People should relate a logo to who you are, then understand what you do from there. You can start with a LogoType like this, but incorporate a logo later with this LogoType to get a logo-recognition effect.

    My new logo.

ooooh, i haven't been on sythe in a loooong time,
basically what Haunted said, maybe try first with smudging and/or less filters. you said you wanted it to look dirty?
try using closer colours, maybe a black and brown, to give it a slightly gradiented effect. try to use noise instead of your brush, or make your own brushes, as that one is well known.

oh, and i'm amateur so in no way do you have to listen to my advice :)

edit: and what vision said :p

    My new logo.

Seriously. For example, you've probably seen this signature before (literally, the sign in this sig), and you relate it to what I do - design.

    That is my LogoType.

    My logo itself is:

    Which I have modified to:

    and as shown here:

No matter in what way you see the logo, and even if you do not see the entire logo, you are relating it to my name mentally, which makes it an effective way for people to notice you. Even if they were only to see your logo by accident in nature or something, if you can get someone to say, "Hey, that's the [Company Name] logo!" You have yourself a real, and very productive symbol of your company, or yourself.
